Schematic with NPC

Can your npc's learn schematics? I got the schematic for the pyrotechnic axe, but I'm a moderate magicaly inclined character. Can I make Magnus learn it? if so, how? Thanks.

 

npcs cannot learn found schematics, sorry. if magnus knows how to make the featherweight axe you can take the one he made and some fuel and then buy tech manuals to make the pyro axe yourself.

 

While we're on the subject of Pyro Axes...where can you find the Schematic for it?!

 

under willoughsby's house in tarant. i have also found the schematic in the smith there, but it is always in the room with the mechanical arachnids. you can also access the room through the seweres under tarant.

 

Yeah, that's the key! Someone in your party has to know the basic scheme and you can make the other scheme by buying manuals in Tarant's University.

 

Not realy. There is a Featherweight Axe in Blackroot. A Dwarf in the Hotel Bar has it. With a little work & a fate point, you can have a Pyro Axe at level 7. Mmmmm fun. :lol:

 

That dwarf in the Inn/Pub is almost all the time from the Hand. So you must kill him... if he does not have the dialog asking if you're the IFS survivor, load and try again until he attacks you (of course you must be prepared to beat a dwarf with a Feather-Weight axe!).

 

No, just use the fate point. A Featherweight Axe at level 6 or 7 is worth it. Beating up the Dwarf, even with a 4 member party at level 11 & 12 is hard.

Sometimes he just insults you. Then he doesn't have the MH amulett, but he always has the axe.

 

as we're talking about schematics... why can't my 100% tech dwarf lern that schematick found in Bates factory? I have int 20...

 

Because it is not realy a schematic. It is a quest item cleverly disgusied as a schematic. It takes a bit of hacking or a mod to learn it.
