I want to post some funny pic from arcanum, but i dont know how... so i thought... you are part of the forum staff right... so you probably know how to do this... So i'm asking...HOW??? people told me to look in the F.A.Q. but i cant find it there...
What do you mean??? it's not something i found in the internet... it's on my Pc.(it's a screenshot i made)
is there any less-comlicated way? i mean... i've looked through the site you gave me,an even signed up to one of the free hosters.but i still dont know what to do... (you see,i have some problem... I'M STUPID!)
1)Go to http://www.f2s.com. 2)Sign up for an account, assuming they're still allowing sign-ups. Last I checked, they weren't very strict about direct-linking image files. 3)Download SmartFTP and learn the basics of using it. Don't trip, it's all very simple. 4)Upload your shit to your shiny new webspace. 5)Follow the Forum FAQ regarding using the tags to post images. Or, if the image isn't too big, and you won't post it anywhere but this forum, you can mail it to me and I'll host it for you. I have very limited bandwidth, though, so no guarantees that it'll stay up for long. I recommend that you learn to do this sort of stuff yourself, though. It isn't that hard to figure out, and you won't have to depend on other people to do things for you.
well i checked it out and it said there that i'll have to pay(  ) do you know any FREE web space hosters. (in which you dont have to have knowledge in HTML) P.s. the smartFTP is pretty complicated ... and i'm pretty stupid.
There IS an easy work around, if you just wanna share a funny pic with us. Register at the official Sierra Arcanum site They let you upload an image via an ASP upload (or whatever their freaky equivalent is) which basically means you just browse to the image you've got on you machine and then click "Upload" Once you've put your image there, just create a new thread on their site and cut 'n' paste the URL of it into a thread on TA I'm not sure about image size restrictions, but then if you were gonna land a woppa on us here, there'd probably be a few dial-up users who'd wanna warning in the subject line
