So this space is intended to be used the same way that #arcanuminn was meant to be? That would be a lot of fun.

Yeah, and some of the roleplaying threads on the Inn come to mind.

As good as it could be, if it requires making and reading really long posts, I don't think my fragile brain could handle it

*sudders to think of his brief time at the Baldurs Gate Roleplaying Forum*

Roleplaying is what you make of it, folks...you can skim long posts and keep your own short, or just start a new thread for shorter in-character posts. If the way it's being done isn't fun, you just go do something else that you do like- somebody's bound to think like you. Actually, even if you don't post, they're kinda fun to read.

yes, just post posts within character, it doesn't say that you must write long posts at all...

oh, i'll reply to the other thread after school, my head hurts right now, and i'll be going soon.

AH! THat long posts get horrendes. THere could possibly be a limit to words? 100...200...300...400...500...you get the point.

Please no! Posting in the Tomb of Simorp threads got to be quite annoying when your thirty-page odyssey was truncated to a trite 500 words with the rest of the story consigned to oblivion.

The forums are very nice; as a matter of fact, I think I like them better than those at IGN and at Sierra. They have more functionality and fewer limits.

    LD -
Are you talking about the "Death be not the End" thread?
Hm. That strikes me as more like cooperative fan-fic (like simorp?) rather than role-playing (like Seelies).
Sure, a lot of threads go back and forth between the two, or blend them - I'm not sure I'd be comfortable adding to that story at this point...

Actually Strav, even though the RPG thread begins with "I" and "me", anyone can join in as a character within the same "realm". Eventually, unusual circumstances would bring the characters together. It's a diferent approach I came up with.

So from what I surmise, you put in a story, and then someone would reply to it and continue the storyline. Can that be it?
