And while you're there you can hear: "Get the fuck on the sidewalk!"

Hehe you should try to take a cab in prague. We were going back to the hotell and we were paying a standard price(500 coronas). The point for the taxidriver, now was to drop us of as fast as he could we were drunk and happy so we did not think about it so much that we were going 180km/h trough prague. Gave us a smal scare in the morning though.
The snow has come to my home now. We cant go more than 50 or 60 on the roads now.

The rudeness of people constantly amazes me. I've never had a problem with cyclists on footpaths - hell, it's pretty much standard here for people to ride bikes on footpaths. We have small population, so our roads are fairly small (one or two lanes each way at most for the vast majority of roads) so cyclists tend to get in the way of cars heaps. Which probably leads to the incidents where drivers throw shit at cyclists to get them off the road and onto the footpath. I haven't done that yet though.

That's how much petrol¹ costs over here with about 40% being tax.

I also heard that somewhere in Europe you had roads WITHOUT speed limits? Roads where you could just put the pedal to the floor?

    ¹That's "gas" for the Americans.

Visit Germany. No limits on highways. Though I think Green party wants to limit that - they are all alone here however.

They have started limiting it now. The usual speed limit is 150 km/h but some places you can go as fast as you want to. He a few years a friend of mine was in germany driving about 200 on the Autobahn when someone drove straight past him. Dunno if is it is true but it could be. Good cars in Germany. :D

No big deal really. 200 is not such a high speed with so many new cars having their speed cut off at 240. And don't forget bikes. Anyway can you imagine seeing me in a car that can go over 200 and actually going below that? Especially when it's allowed.

And German cars are great. Don't drive BMW into Poland however - if you do remember to have a train ticket ready.
