    No to all...

    That should have been a sailor on a ship not on boat, try to tell a difference to non-english speaker when the word is translated they both are same the word in my language :-?

    Ferret, if you go bellow deck then you have floor above, and when you are above the deck then you have roof below.

    Then that riddle is a bit vague isn't it? It depends on the person moving up and down below decks....

    Anyway, a boat is the type of craft. A ship is just a big type of boat, like a dinghy is a small type of boat, with only one deck level, and an open top.

    C'mon Ferret, riddles aren't pokemons - you can't guess them all :) Let's deal with that new bit... I mean riddle.

    Gambit - how about an onion then?

    By that standard, the answer could be "masturbation"

    Hmmmm....

    Sheriff Fatman must have some extraordinary talents he's not divulging, if he can "masterbate" and "suck it down" simultaneously. :winknudge:

    Which sparks my next guess: Semen? Heh.

    I would say smoke. But then I'd just be cheating because I used google to look it up.

    DU if smoke is indeed the correct answer (one of the things that's been circling my mind together with air/wind) since it only rarely causes a sneeze then don't post here answers that you just find on the web. You ruin all the fun.

    Smoke is the answer. Oh well next one then:

    It stands alone, with no bone or solid form.
    Adamant, it prospers never wrong,
    though hurt it may.

    Twistable, malleable, might it be,
    but always straight as an arrow.

    Truth it is.

    It ain't wierd one actually, it depends on material what is burining.

    Anyways next one then:

    I'm often held, yet rarely touched;
    I'm always wet, yet never rust;
    I'm sometimes wagged and sometimes bit;
    To use me well, you must have wit.

    Correct Ferret, next one:

    There's someone that I'm always near,
    Yet in the dark I disappear.
    To this one only I am loyal,
    Though in his wake I'm doomed to toil.

    He feels me not (we always touch);
    If I were lost, he'd not lose much.
    And now I come to my surprise,
    For you are he - but who am I ?
