I have to admit that you're good Luchaire!

That's that pile of stones that people use as markers on mountains, or for burying people when there is nothing else to cover them with, to stop them being eaten by the local wildlife.

 

Well, it helped that I am a writer with the habit of using (over-using) the hyphen... Once I decided that the "writer's cramp" and the "tie" were somehow related, it wasn't a far stretch to the rest. And the whole "My first is... my second is...." thing is an old riddle format that generally hints at syllables.



But I still don't have an answer for the other one, except possibly Memory... (like a skeleton in the closet).

 

Am I the only one to notice that Luchaire only answers a riddle when it's obvious rest of us are too dumb to guess it?
