    Right.

"My life can be measured in hours,
    I serve by being devoured.
    Thin, I am quick
    Fat, I am slow
    Wind is my foe."

Probably true... but I bet Milo has a better answer :)

A sausage? Let's see if it stands up to the checklist:

[x]My life can be measured in hours, (who can resist ground pork left-overs wrapped in a succulent intestine? I can't!)
[x]I serve by being devoured. (warm meaty nourishment)
[x]Thin, I am quick (witness, the Slim Jimâ„¢)
[x]Fat, I am slow (it takes a while to gnaw through a fat sausage)
[x]Wind is my foe. (farts are the enemy of every meat product)

Indeed. Yet again, Milo comes through...

It's nice to know there are some things one can still count on!

Right, but Milo explained his sausage better.

    "A hundred and one
    by fifty divide,
    And if a cipher
    is rightly applied,
The answer is one from nine."

It's not really maths riddle. Remember that king DAV1D riddle?

    Yup. I helped too much, didn't I?

    "You heard me before,
    Yet you hear me again,
    Then I die,
    'Till you call me again."

Now I wouldn't say that. Sure, knowing which type a riddle is gives a huge advantage but I still had some serious problems getting that "cipher" line decoded (I didn't know cipher stands for 0 - were it not for the dictionary...)

For the last one: name or question.

The answer is not 'Echo' again is it?

    Good.

    Yes, it is.

    My second damp,
    My whole a tie,

I am stumped on both the current ones from Riddlemaster and Gambit.

I'm so stumped I can't even attempt a facetious answer.
