That fits, but the "ends life" part of the riddle is a stretch. If that's the correct answer then it's more rubbery than that other one earlier in the thread.

Are you sure? My suggestion fits completely. If I caught someone making faces behind my back while I was telling a joke, I'd kill them.

If it isn't silence is it "Nothing"?

its that typical olde answer of.... Time.
time can't be seen - though with a clock it can but thats still an abstract thing
time cant be felt - though with age. like above.
time isnt heard - clock chiming, old person complaining
time isnt smelt - but we love it when fartty johnson leaves the room.

Thats the big give away.

 

It's behind your back, so you can't see it and naturally you can't feel, hear or smell someone pulling a face. Makes perfect sense in my little world.

Quite contrary, this one is very easy indeed (though my answer wasn't confirmed) but with some of them answer is not so obvious. The one with "David" was great. Also the very long one was brilliantly deceiving.
