Revival

I'm wondering whether anyone here's interested in reviving this section or not. I for one want to RPG, but I'm a little dry of new exciting ideas. Is there an old thread that we could, perhaps, revive? Like the TES RPG, we haven't really even finished the prologue of that one yet. What say you, people of TA? Are you ready to rumble?

 

Totally. Can we start over though? Mann... maybe we could use the Arcanum rules. aka everything goes? How cool would it be to roleplay a badass gunslinging pyro dwarf? Just a thought... then more people might play. Anyways... lets start something!

 

We could just start up another random-setting Arcanum RPG. But, since all the threads I create usualy dies out before long, I think that someone else should start this one up.

 

For that we would need pictures, and then you could just create a porno thread...

So, how does everybody feel about the RP thing, then? Should we play some kind of random Arcanum thing, or should we play another set of "Lords" RP? I myself vote for the Arcanum setting. It's been a long time, for me at least, since I played an Arcanum RP.

 

If anyone's up for a Fallout themed rp thread, I'm so in.

hmmm. What is lords per se-- like where does it come from. The cool thing about fallout/arcanum style is that you can be anything. But yeah, regardless , Arc world all the way.

 

Your Lord is you - your profile on TA. Scroll down the page and read, for example, the RP "The return of a Lord". It's a good one. "The Lords of Sol" is another.

If you rp your lord profile... does that mean you are essentially playing with your personality/profile name?
ie. I would be dstanzler
And I would probably be slightly hyperactive at times.

or could I do something like this (this would actually be my character):

A sociopathic lunatic thats fast with a dagger and easy on the eyes. He has a persuasive personality and purports himself to be an anthropological veterinarian.

 

We usually use our profile names, but we don't have to play our own personalities. Maybe your name could be D'Stanzler? Or D. Stanzler (as in David Stanzler), and simply shortened (like a nickname) to Dstanzler.

 

I can be back on board for another Lords thread. An arcanum setting might be refreshing.
