Weird how such a serious thread can turn into something like this...

 

Yep, that's some fine thread derailment right there. Not that it's surprising around here, really; it's sort of the favourite forum pastime, right after yelling at/making fun of newbies.

 

Yeah, sure, I've seen it a dozen times. But the other threads started with a useless post anyway...

 

Well I think everyone here has decided that drunk driving is a bad thing, but we also know that if you get into a car with a drunk driver, and don't use safety belt and fall asleep, you are very much to blame if you most unsurprisingly should die inn a carsrash.
It is all very sad and so on but let us face the facts there is not much to discuss.

 

Many times people don't like to address horrible events because it makes us uncomfortable. We can't really do anything to make the situation better and so we feel out of place. So instead we're talking about dead babies.

 

i'm holding onto this baby, DU, incase fish doesn't come home. but if he survives, we'll discuss it

 

Hmmm... What's the going rate on babies these days anyway? I'll have to take a look on ebay.
