There is a stupid bug with the reaction, I noticed it twice with tattered bowman and kite bowman. After killing them reaction falls down towards you from your companions, what a pitiful bug! I don't want to be rude but what did they test the game with? pregnency tests? Is there a way to increase it by normal means except raising beauty? People watch out for it!
You can do quest that can increase your reaction rate e.g. helping Arbalah. There alsmo might be a potion you can drink but they'll be temporary.
