RE: multi player

dumb question from a newbe, i have just resently tryed to start playing arcanum on the net, however i cant even get past the setup/log on..... every name i enter as my user name it tell me it already exists! it dose not matter how dumb or rediculass the name is..... is there some way i can get around this or do i have to go and sign up with a game site first! what the f@#k do i do!!

Hey i had same prob when i bought game. i found a website forum that said you need a acct wizard to logg in on the multi player version of game. http://www.won.net/ try that site it should help ya out see ya on multi player

 

celtic, two things you need to learn. The first, that post is abou four months old, I certainly hope he's figured out how to get in by now. Secondly, camthalion obviously doesn't understand the concept of a search button, because this topic has come up dozens of times. Anyway, thatnks for trying to help, if you find anyone on multiplayer let me know.

ok thanks and yea i've been on multiplayer off and on and have seen people playing it. i got stuck on the main game so i went to multiplayer with some of the mods from file planet. but now it seems my game wants to start crashing outta the clear blue. the bigest prob with the multi player is catching people that still play it online and at a time you can play. maybe i'll catch you on some time . laters

 

are you patched? if you're having trouble with the main game we can hopefully work it out if you let us know the problem.

 

it was patched and running fine till i reformated and put the game on an external hardrive then it started crashing and i got the same bink 32 error thing that another guy in the forums had when i get time i'm gonna try what they suggested and reload the game cuz i haven't beaten it yet. we'll see if that works this weekend. i have xp sp2 on a dell and i wonder if it has anything to do with direct x9c i put on here?
