I am not the_sex_boy. If you don't believe me, I here give you some proof:

    1. Most importantly, no IP-match, http://i5.tinypic.com/20h6684.jpg shows you that the_sex_boy uses the IP 12.214.103.54, I didn't manage to trace it and it is probably a proxy. Meanwhile, all but 6 of my posts have been made from different IP's beggining with 213.114.22 and then a 0 or a 2, the other six posts were probably made during a stay at my uncle's, I think it was about february two years ago, and begin with 8 (I don't want to give out his IP).

    2. I've been on vacation, first for a week after my leave last Saturday (I think it was) in a small 2 room and toilet building on a camping on the Swedish west-coast. At this place I don't think there are any computers, there might very well be, but I didn't see one during my stay there. Afterwards, I visited my grand-parents at their home in central Sweden, they have a computer, and I did sleep in the room they kept it, but to my knowledge it wasn't turned on during my stay there. Yesterday however I briefly used a computer while playing with my cousins, but did not post any messages because one cousin was next to me the whole time, and to visist this place, you have to keep your left hand inside your underwear.

    3. As you might have read in the quote from the staff forum I told DU to "check on it [this forum]every now and then" while I was gone, something I can assure you I wouldn't have done if I was going to spam it.

    4. Check my posts at the Chaotic Cafe (if it still exists somewhere) to see what I'm like when I'm spamming, though the spammier posts have been deleted by Xz. Also check the intervalls of my spamming, usually it happens for a couple of minutes or hours and then stops for a long time.

    5. I don't use underscores, I stopped using them a while before I registered here (except maybe for some slip somewhere) and don't put a the in front of my name.

Regarding mainly the fifth I would say someone is doing a bad job at trying to imitate my name, like somebody suspiciously said due to the similarity of the endings. I would say that someone knows I was going to go away for a couple of weeks before starting this, because otherwise I would have futilised their work quickly.

    Thank you for reading.

It really doesn't bug me either way who the_sex_boy really is; I'm just glad to see the naked orc back on the forums.
I'm pretty sure I tried to stay neutral through this affair, though I may have wavered a bit. I was on vacation during the same time, up until last saturday, at which point I saw that nearly every thread was flooded by this new member. That being the case, I don't think I had time enough to really hold any ire against the_sex_boy.
Hold that "neutral" point. I distinctly remember saying how obvious it was that you were, indeed HIM. Something about your rank. I was told a post or two later that DU had given it to you before your "ascension".
Any way, I believe you, but I'm going to err on the side of caution. You really can't be too trusting around here.
Regardless, that's pretty funny, what you said in your previous post, eh, mathboy?

Are you suggesting that it might be someone else, perhaps DU?
Does he live in Illinois by any chance?

We want to believe you, but on at least four counts DU has blamed you. It would be convienant for him to point you out while you're away on holiday with your left hand down your pants (?), unable to defend yourself....

...And he did refuse to do anything about it...

Whats his IP? Give us more proof, or help us find the culprit. Whoever it is has admin coding priveledges. Therefore, it looks like it might be either you or DU. Who gets the Can O Spam avatar?!?

*EDIT* I 'moved' the last three posts of this thread to 'Who done it?', as it seemed like it needed its own thread.

Yeah, I traced the IP address to Media Communications Corp too. The two the_sex_boy has used both point to the same place. I was waiting until mathboy said something like "just come back from America" and then I'd be all like "AHAH GOT YOU, YOU LITTLE BASTARD".

Actually, I'm pretty sure I only blamed him once. That was when I said I was "pretty sure". The second time I simply stated that I was checking on things and simply made everyone aware that mathboy was CONVENIENTLY on vacation.

Until yesterday when it appears the_sex_boy has conveniently vanished without a trace. I figured that was because my master plan of "do nothing" had scared him into submission so I went ahead and spam canned him and cleaned up the two pages of "lol" but now I find mathboy is back. COINCIDENCE? Maybe... Maybe... It's like how Clark Kent always runs off right before Superman appears and then, lo and behold, always reappears just after Superman has left.

What has the_sex_boy done that would mean that? There is a chance it's just someone else who decided that now would be the time to join and post crap and after doing it for a day or so, disappear from whence they came. Incidentally, in both instances, there's a 2 day gap between mathboy disappearing and the_sex_boy appearing and then again with the_sex_boy's last post and mathboy re-appearing.

    mathboy's last post:
    the_sex_boy's first post:
    the_sex_boy's last post:
mathboy's first post after coming back.
Not until we see both people in the same place at the same time will questions be alleviated.

Until then, CLARK KENT IS SUPERMAN!

Well, to be perfectly frank, it seems way too convenient. Any one of us that saw mathboy would be gone for a short while could be "the_sex_boy" on the side.
That actually rules me out. I was in Kansas, a state that happens to not be Illinois, from the 8th to the 15th. Couple that with the fact that I had access to a computer one time in my whole stay, I get to point my finger at everyone here and say "Maybe."
Is it just me or is this turning out to be a script from a bad detective movie?

Quite simply teh_spam_boy can post embedded url's inside pix and they stay after you click on them, where as with user-level accounts, the pix/url disappear after clicking once. His stays. I'd show you the actual post, but it will take some time to recover it after teh spam attack.

It is quite compelling with the time-differential thing. That might account for flying time and jet-lag or whatever.

However, it doesn't answer the question of why you didn't ban him(the_sex_boy), smite him, or otherwise stop the flagrant vandalism?...

But none of you knew mathboy had gone until after the_sex_boy had appeared. Mathboy knows I don't moderate unless as a last resort. His leaving post was only in the admin forum and was a directive to me to specifically "keep an eye on things". When I popped in to the forums and saw "LOL" my immediate thought was "MATHBOY IS TESTING ME!". Which is partly why I also didn't care. The other reason is below...

That paragraph makes absolutely no sense to me what-so-ever. Who's linked images are disappearing where? Huh?

I'm generally apathetic. Banning someone doesn't work if all it does is makes them angry enough to come back via a(nother) proxy and spam the forums up to buggery. It's typically better to "let the general populace deal with them" where they (hopefully) see it's not working and then leave. Which is what I presume the_sex_boy did. If the_sex_boy had tried posting two more pages of lol or kept up his attack, then yes, I would've stepped in. As it is, I only cleaned up, deleted the LOL's and Vault of Follied the rest because he has seemingly left.

Which is odd really. I mean, why hasn't he come back? Apatheticness isn't usually this effective. Normally it takes a good month or at the very least, a week or two. All we got was one page of LOL's.

Then this narrows it down to one of the several moderators.
If it wasn't mathboy (and it might very well be) it could be you, DU. You knew about it.
Hell, that's really easy for me to say, though.
As for the linked images, are you using properly hosted pics? A lot of times, the owner of the image will simply alter the url so that they save bandwith. the_sex_boy might have simply used image-shack or something similar.

I thought of that, so I posted my own image and used this forum for a url to test it, and after one click, it disappeared. The sex_boys however, did not. Here, I'll try again:

*edit*How curious, a week ago that didn't work. Either my theory just became moot, or someone fixed it....

Its fixed now, so I'm happy.

I just tried it and it's staying up. Correction - it vanished as soon as I posted this and was replaced by that crazy "happy face". Annnndddd... it just came back again...
