i stopped smoking after i finished my hsc, which is highschool in oz for those that don't know, had about 12 for the next 7/8 yrs then only took it up again because i started going out with someone from work who was a smoker and being surrounded by people in pubs who were smoking too, i started again, if i had waited till now with the new no smoking in most public places laws before asking her out i wouldn't of started again most likely

 

Your band looks great, Reg. Can't argue with Velvet Underground and Black Sabbath as influences. Nor can you argue with names like Rex Sex, Gay Biker Mike, and of course, Reg the Guitar God. I'm guessing by your screename that you're the guitar player, right? If that's the case, Please feel free to donate one of your Paul Reed Smiths to a broke-ass guitarist here in the States (read: me).

Clerks is actually the only movie in that "series", if you want to call it that, that I haven't seen. I thought Chasing Amy was pretty funny though, especially that conference scene early on. Guess I've got to get Clerks next time I got to the video store :smile:.

Neither do I (smoke that is). Wow, that's better than me Ring Lord, for the youngest age at trying smoking that is (I first tried at 7 if you didn't read that before).

My uncle keeps a stack of Phantom comics in his bathroom :grin:.

Sure, I never was a big fan of the X-Men (or any other comic book series for that matter) but I do think that Wolverine rocks.

What no Batman? NEVER I say! I have a lot of DC comics to include Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman (STOP Laughing!), Green Lantern and Justice League. I am sure my collection is worth at least a couple of grand but I collect for the fun of it :smile: Are you talking about THE Phantom or the Phantom Stranger? Well either way they both rock :smile: I collected them both on and off. Do you remember a cartoon named Phantom 2000? It was way cool, sort of a futuristic version of the Phantom.

 

I was never really into comic books, except for obtaining the (very) occasional Phantom comic (I mean THE Phantom, the guy in the purple clothing :smile. Obviously you love your comic books :smile:.

You mentioned that Eros Rex meant Love King. What language does that come from?

 

Latin. Eros is the greeco-roman name for the god of love (ie cupid), and Rex is latin for King or Emperor.
