Ok. Im not sure if any of you realize this or not. But in the game there is an old blind master. He is running around killing chickens. Now that character and that weapon are both based off of a film called THE MASTER OF THE FLYING GUILLOTINE. Now, if your into the old style kung fu films where nothing makes sense and that actually makes it cool then you will like this film. Alot. A few of the characters out of Street Fighter are based out of this movie to.
Anyway, i know for a fact that this is one of quentin Tarrantino´s favoroute films. Ive seen him interviewed before and he has praised this movie alot.
And you can check this out aswell. You know that sound when you equip the aireal decapitator? That sort of GOOOONGGGG sounds followed by the smallest amount of gard rock John Carpenter music. Well, if you watch Kill Bill Volume One, when the little japanese girl starts fighting with beatrix, (the japanese girl weilding a sort of ball on chain with fuck off blade on it one) that music and sound comes on for just a few seconds.
Anyway, if you want to check out more on this, take a look at this video on youtube.

Anyway. Also in that film at one point the old master says, "I dont care who he was". Now i cant remember where on arcanum i heard that but i was checking through the undat music files on the arcanum module and there it was. Maybe they planned to use this and then didnt. Anyway, if you do spot this piece of dialogue then pleeease do tell me.

I saw a similar note on the Aerial Decapitator somewhere else, though they said it was (apparently) a reference to The Iron Chef, or something.

Not having seen any of the titles mentioned, or even bothered to go find the AD, I can't comment more than that. (Except to say I found Kill Bill overrated. Sorry.)

Really? I found Kill Bill to be kind of amusing. Sort of a Tarentino version of Charlies Angels. Pulp Fiction was better though.

The only thing I found interesting about Kill Bill was that animation with Oren Ishii. I later found out that they had to animate it because it involved an older man in bed with a young girl.
I did not see that at all.
