Tell me what city ur in and witch backyard and ill find u. :smile: U start in Borealis as Neutral but if u die u end up in newland. But thats no biggie, you can take the WOMPA back to Borealis in NO time. Money is EASY to get in AO, mission are the best way. At my level (9) i get like 1500 credits from a mission and thats before i sell all the stuff i find. What class are you? No use for the parts and junk and they dont give much money either.

I'm neutral adventurer. I travel between Borealis and the training ground 2. Thats where my apartment is. I have gathered some belongings that I don't know the use for.

I will hanf around training area 2 for a while. If I can find my way back that is.

I view th trailer of NeverWinter from the IceWind Dale CD and I like it! Too bad it'll be up for next year. On the other hand, Arcanum will keep me up for the next 6 months or so.

About this other game, where can I find more information about this?

Everyone should buy AO. I made a new character today. An Omni Crat (beurocrat (spelling?)) named Smooothy. He really knows how to "schmoooze". And Monkeypunch is now level 11!! Woopie!! Buy AO now!! :grin:

I visited the site and I'm thinking of trying out the game. I hope we have that in our country. But if it were to ask, which would you vote for, Arcanum or Anarchy Online?

 

Since i dont have arcanum yet (no warez here baby) and the demo is BORING now i would say AO. Dont hate me. Ill probaly change my oppinion when Arcanum comes to a store near me :smile:. AO is better over internet. Arcanum has a kick ass single player. Ur call man

 

I love AO.

I bought as a tie breaker to get my mind of the wait for Arcanum. I bought it last saturday, spent 10 hours playing. Had only a 30 min. brak to get some food. On Sunday I had to help my sister reinstall her OS and stuff. When I got home I decieded to create a new character, as my first got stuck in lag. I also used the first to get a feel for the game.
After playing for about an hour I found this woman, being lost. I told her a few tips that I had learned and found out that she was looking for her husband. He was sitting next to her at home but they couldn't find each other online. AO is huge. Several cities and training areas.

Anyway. I left and did a few missions on my own, and then returned to sell some stuff. I found her in conversation with another player. They asked me if I would like to team up with them and why not. I was charismatic and easy on the eye. I joined them and we did some bashing in the wilderness. After a while we got separated. My connection got down, but I got back online soon enough. I found her again sitting and resting. The team leader had been killed and then decided to move on. I took her along on a mission and then I helped her find her husband. I had to traverse two major cities to find him, but two hours later they were re united. I felt good about my self and would love to go monster bashing with them. (They did ask me) but it was late and time for my sleep.

In conclusion. AO rocks and I asure you that you will have a wonderful time playing. There are still a few bugs, but they don't mess up your play to much. You start in the location you were when the game frooze. Having all your items.

By the way. If you get online, lock me up. I am willing to offer any help, if I feel that I can. My name is Thoram.

True, true. AO is really good. But so god damn laggy! And PeeCee.. you had to traverse 2 mayor cities? Why didnt they just start in the same city? Beats me. Anyway. Monkey, u should really buy this game. Look me or PeeCee up if u do. :grin:


PS: I grouped with PeeCee some yesterday. But it was really laggy so we didnt get to bash alot of monsters. :smile: I made 2 levels!

I can recomend the game, but it is like Diemon says. There is major lag at some times and locations. I don't know if this have to do with every one logging on to Rubi-ka 1 or not. I will investigate today.

Diemon. The reason they didn't start in the same town is that it is randomized. She was an agent and he was an enforcer I think. I don't really know why the starting locations is different. My first character started in the training area outside Borealis, and the second in the training area outside Newland

Only the neutrals are random. All clanners start in tir and all omnis start in Omni-1 but neutrals start in either newland or borealis. But if u start in newland and want to go to borealis there is a wompa right outside the newbie areas that leads there.

Not true. I started a new character in Rubi-Ka 2 yesterday and I chose Clan form the start. My starting location was the training grounds at Athens. Also Rubi-ka 1 and Rubi-ka 2 are two completly different games, so people on one will not meet people on the other. My new Char is a soldier called Thoram. Just like in the book. Yeah!!

Ok, they changed the locations. Omni = Rome or Omni-1, Neutral = Borealis or Newland, Clan = Tir or Athen. But why do you keep making new chars all the time? It gets funnier the higher you get and you wont get to high if u keep making new ones. Keep on playing with your enforcer i say. But its your call.
