When I click on the item on my hotbar it dissappears is there any mod or option that keeps my item from dissappearing like Diablo 2 thank you and Happy New Year
You mean an item like a scroll or potion? If so then it disappeared because you used it items in the quickbar are in storage just as if you had them in your backpack. Its pretty poorly coded, I've used it as a way to carry multiple plate mail sets before by hiding then in those buttons. I'm not aware of a mod that reprograms them to actually behave more like real shortcut keys you can tie the use of a specific item to permanently. I'll probably end up being corrected by someone, but I don't think its possible to modify the game to do that.
Are you a modder? Anyways the source code has been released and there are more than hundreds of mods available but another question do you have to identify an item to use it. Maybe more people will see this thread.
Well it appears I have dropped the ball if I'm an Admin on the biggest Arcanum forum out there and I missed the release of the source code.
Actually I am over the quick bar thing (mostly)( the game is so well made) but about the Beta Restoration Mod it installs but I don't see any new portrait choices or Orc (Half Orc?) weapons does that happen later in the game? 8)Also my first follower the monk doesnt care if I kill the dwarf guarding the machine in Shrouded Hills is this normal for the game to do that?
