Hi all! I've just entered Qintarra, and have spoken with Jormund about himself and his master... then proceeded to do all the sidequests in the village. (Yes, I id hget here by way of the main plot, not by forcing. )... However, as of yet, Jormund has not been arrested, and has not changed his dialogue... though Wrath is dead... Huh? This is my third playthrough of this game (yes, I'm patched. ), and usually I've never had any problems. I re-load back to when I first entered Qintara, talked to him again, and simply advanced time a day, and came up with the same result. Does anyone have a clue as to what's going on? Thank you!
its pretty obvious whats happenedhere. qintarra is the arcanum equivilant of our american state of Texas. the local law enforcement are probably convicting an npc with darker skin as we speak.
I know that this may sound a bit silly, but have you picked up the vial of poison from Wrath's body? It could very well be that picking up the vial triggers the arrest. By the way, welcome to the forum :wavey:
Mmm, no, that didn't help. :-( I guess that isn't the end of the world, though, right? I can just pretend that Jormund goes free to cast spells in his crappy dwarven way... (If anyone has any other ideas, though, I wouldn't be adverse to hearing them!) And thank you for the invite.
I have a weird thing going on too. I got the vial, and everything seems fine except that girl who you have to talk too to get Jormond free won't say anything. The locked vase behind her is empty, and when I talk to her at night, she says she's in some ceremony, and during the day, she just says hi, and that's the end of the conversation.
Blinky and Keim's problems seem to be extremely obscure bugs. I would say proceed without Jormund's quest.
There's a bug if you kill Wrath before you meet Jormund they blame Jormund and say that you weren't anywhere near the crime scene and they're not as sensitive as they say to the dark arts.
On Jormund; he is a free follower. He is a Force Mage, & if you give him a trip or three under the Dark Helm to get his MA up, pretty good at it. His only problem is his propenisity for mele combat. On the Bug; try getting a scroll of Summon Sprit & talking to Wrath's ghost. that might break the deadlock. New bug on me too.
Damn, that's a good idea! How come I can never remember that spell! Nuther spoilers: In Caladon, I, for some reason, couldn't find the 3rd murder site, so I read the walkthrough, and it reminded me of Conjur Spirit, but it's so useless most of the time, that I would never remember it otherwise. BTW, can you do the Reflection Shield trick, and leave a ghost summoned forever? Evidently it hurts to be conjurred, and there are some npc's that I might want to torture indefinately. :evil:
Oh, I like that, I know a few who really need that. I don't know if it works, RS & Create Undead doesn't. Now where did I leave that PC with necro & RS?...
It works fine with Succor Beast, either learned or from the Stillwater Blade. Breed Vorpal Bunnies or Vorpal Sheep that way. For the Vorpal Sheep you need Pollymorph as well as the RS & Stillwater Blade & IN 12 to have three enchantments running. & don't forget your 100% MA. Did you know that near the magic shops in Tarant you can pick up a 15 - 20% boost in MA? Who was the genius who zoned a train station & a magical shopping center right accorss the street from each other?
