You can't have a complete breakfast without oatmeal. And boiled eggs, not so lightly cooked that they are all runny and irritating, but the yolk should keep together and have a creamy texture.

Can I get that on my burger, please?

Eggs and oatmeal on a burger? :/ Why not?
You'd need thick oatmeal and some careful timing for the egg so that it'll slice without squishing, but it's at least possible.

Since I hate oatmeal in everything but cookies, let me know how it turns out.

If you boil the egg then break it you can slice it like a pickle and put it on that way.

Of course, some mornings all I really want is some cereal. I suppose that honey puffs are out of the question?

Perhaps with milk used as a binding agent you could make a patty.

Why would you ever, ever, want to pour these kind of things on a well made, juicy burger?

My cow homies over here started crying when I showed this to them.

I eat a large bowl of oatmeal every morning. I find it makes me quite regular and cuts down on constipation. A healthy shit should be between twelve and sixteen inches long and at least an inch in diameter. Sometimes I have to flush twice.

Yeah, seriously. I'm sure your man has told you all about the phenomenal binding effects of those things. They also give you frequent and pungent gas.

he refuses to eat them. before he has to go to the field we always buy a bunch of canned foods for him to smuggle out and taunt his buddies with.

Rosie, that's a good call. DE, I'm going to use that translation of the acronym in the future. I like it.

i just talked to fish today. apparantly, there is something worse than eating MREs everyday. and that would be eating cold chow hall breakfast. all day. everyday. with no other options.

this deployment they've got him guarding some bridge in ramadi, so all the food is delivered. but it's only delivered once a day. and if you've ever endured military "eggs," you'll understand why this is a nightmare of epic proportions...

Ugh. I worked in a fast-food restaurant, and the "eggs" we served on sandwiches and the like were actually egg-flavored soy pastes. That we cut into sandwich sized discs.

McDonalds eggs come in liquid form. you pour them into a mold, then fold them over to make assorted breakfast sandwiches.

military eggs, on the other hand, tend to come in powder form.
