It's kind of embarrassing, but I had the same problem when I first came to TA 2 years ago, or whenever it was made (waaaay before I registered).

The problem is, that they can't be downloaded. They're only ideas for new tech things, and don't actually exist. I could just as easily make one up here, right now, and it would be just as effective.

    Chemistry:

Monkey Retarder - for use on those annoying monkeys you find lying all over Arcanum. One does of this, and they'll be as smart as a goldfish.

See? Doesn't do alot of good does it? It's a shame though. Maybe they should upgrade it so that people who make tech mods can upload them. but I guess they'd be in the downloads section anyway.

Ah well. You'll just have to live without them, as the rest of us have. Unless you can make some yourself? If you can, then let us all know. I'm sure there would be plenty of people willing to try them....

Ferret, don't you mean "dose of this" instead of "does of this"?

Ray, just because Ferret can't do it, doesn't mean you can't. It would mean breaking into the files of WorldEd itself, however, and programming the entire looks and acts of the object in the game, and on the schematic. Some people may be able to make a program that will do it (kind of like how ArcanumEdit edits the save game files), but you would have to ask some of the REALLY smart people around, or one of the Sierra/Troika programmers, themselves!
