Problem with raising pickpocket skill...

    My pick-pocketing skill is at 4 and my dexterity is 20. When I hover the cursor over the skill it does not say max dex to raise, and when I click on the plus to raise it, it says I must raise my dex first, this is impossible... Any ideas?

    If you are wearing certain types of gloves, they reduce your pickpocket skill. That could be what's causing your problem.

    Um no, it's a common problem. The bulkier your gloves are, the harder it is to pickpocket. Just take them off, and away you go for your money stealing spree!

    Somehow some gloves decided to equip themselves on me and after removing them it worked. Thanks.
