problem in tarant

I can not get into the mansion,

guard wont give me a quest,

other dude wont ask me to destroy the steam engine

is there some thing i missed.

another question every time the game loads (little clock spins) i get are you sure you want to quit anyway to fix?

Have you visited P. Schyler (no I can't spell it) & Sons? You won't be allowed in to see Bates without a reason.

As for the clock spinning.... Upgrade your video card? Add more RAM? Only play Arcanum under the influence of controlled substances so the game appears to be moving quickly by comparison?

i have been all through schulyers killed the wizards got the note i read it i believe

i dont mind the load time its the asking me if i want to exit eveytime the game loads.

i have tried to get into the mansion from attack i get to the front door and the game kicks me out i try going in through the graveyard game kicks me out anyway to fix?

 

Ohhhhhhh. You're not patched, are you. Install the patch, see if it clears up your problems.

 

And then read the Schuler's telegram again.

 

look in your quest book and see if you got a quest to find bates, ask virgil, ask magnus, they know about bates if everything is ok.
