It seems like it would be good training for wannabe actors.

I've never LARPed, but with the right people and good organization, I think it could be a lot of fun. Of course, I'm sure most of the LARPing that goes on lacks both of those elements.

    You got it right Japes.

But mostly it is just the lack of good people that ruins LARP.
Except those in Sweden, here we have great LARPing^^

I will never forget the guy at school who had made a full suit of plate and chainmail and wore that for a whole day showing it off. He was heavily into LARPing and would travel across the whole country to participate in all the big events the LARPers had.

In my country LARPers only wear chainmails and swords when they go to the forest. :-(

I want to drive in a bus next to the guy in a full platemail.

    - *Knock* *Knock* Hey, you in there?

    - Yeah! Like, wtf?

    - Can you get an erection in that thing?

    :)

The only time this sort of act is acceptable is if you've just bested your opponent by obvious removing his wang-chung by means of sword. Then an ironic statement such as "How's it hangin' there, Ace?" might be appropriate if smugly delivered.
