Hello! Since it's 7pm and I'm bored, I'm making a thread to inform you all of the following. Perhaps this'll just get added to the CN thread.

I'm guessing none of you use IRC, but if you do, there's the #hol channel on coldfront.net that's inhabited by myself and Silvara perpetually, and occasionally by others. If you've irc, and want someone to chat with, feel free to drop by!

I used to frequent dalnet back in the day...over 10 years ago actually. That was when I was into White Wolf roleplaying and spent most of my time in the V:TM rp rooms. #Vampyra was the best. Good times, good times. I miss that crazy goth chick.

From what I remember it was a pretty colorful text based chat program. You know you can change the color of any context font and play games in it and set music files to play when specific people from your friends list log on? It was a pretty flexible program for what it was originally intended for.

 

Every time I fire up IRC I feel like I'm back in high school all over again.

That's not a feeling I chase.

10 years a very long time in internet-time. The fact that this place is still up, running, gaining new members, and is generally active after 10 years should probably be a sign of the coming apocalypse.

If you look out your window, you shouldn't be at all surprised to see the four horseman bearing down on your domicile.

Having given birth to two of the horsemen, I know the apocalypse is much closer than anyone realizes.
