During the very long wait for the ToEE patch I did the same thing using a "you are an idiot" page disguised as the link to the patch.
It was amazing how many people got caught, they were being pussies about it too, one guy even made a new thread titled "the jinxed link is a virus".

You mean the Sierra boards? Trouble is, Sierra got shut down (as Jinxed mentions here), so both the ultra-spiffy official Arcanum site and the boards no longer exist. I believe that the members of the board moved someplace else, but I never made a note of where as I hadn't posted there in ages.

 

People need to learn to take a few hits before they go around clicking things on internet forums.
