And what does nature have to do with it?
    You're a sadist.
Your domesticated cats have little to do with nature.

Just curious: How many cats do you have?
If you still can count them, it's not enough ;).

Hey, watch out: as soon as you are out of catfood, they'll leave you for someone else ;).

rosie, you seriously should have stopped your cats fucking torturing a bird. Still, what else can you expect from a sadistic redneck?

Come on, it was a bird. Not like it's gonna be missed. And it was a baby so it had was potential which is like a negative number-it doesn't physically exist so it's useless.

it's not like they played with it and left it injured. they played, killed it, and ate the thing. if my cats to like to play with their food, who am i to argue? besides, i'm not a sadist because death fascinates me. everyone is fascinated by death to a degree--that's why people slow down to watch car accidents. i just happen to be honest about my interest.

What's everyone crying about? Nature takes its course. That should be obvious. And Jar, I'm surprised at you! Did you just grow a vagina?

    1. I have never concealed the fact that I like animals for the most part, and I do not like to see them needlessly killed/tortured. I like it even less when people do this.

    2. If it were an adult bird, I would have less of a problem with this, but if all the baby birds are killed, that's what wipes out a species.

    3. I have no problem with people in pain, they can quite easily fend for themselves. But when a human sits idly by and watches an animal in pain, that I cannot stand.

First of all, I know it's what cats do, so don't get on my case....it's just the whole play-kill-eat thing that I think is sick. Kill-play-eat is alright, I mean, its a cat...meh...

Amen. I'm as backwoods as they come (at least on here) and I wouldn't be able to sit and watch something like that rosie. Besides, I've got a bit of a soft spot for birds. Cats are fucking vicious, cruel, beasts. I've got a cat, and I like it, it keeps the rats down in the barn, but damn I hate it when I find a dead bird on my step. The sickest thing I've ever seen was a rabbit head on my step. The ears had been chewed off. (It was sad, but that still didn't stop me from picking up the earless head, and chasing the wifey around with it. That's how we do fourplay out here in the sticks.)

To tell the truth, I've stopped such things from happening in the past. If it's something cute like a baby bird. But when my cats get ahold of mice and voles and the like, I let them have their fun and just walk away. The world doesn't need more small rodents, and that's why we have a cat in the barn anyway.

Yeah, my cat will fuck a mole up. I don't mind that either. But a bird? While you watch? And masturbate? Birds are the flower gardens of the animal world.

    Plus you can screw 'em.

There are far too many rodents, but I also happen to like lizards, and I don't like it when our cat catches them either. The ironic thing is, we only took on the cat to stop it being put down.

I also happen to have a soft spot for birds, because I failed to stop someone at school decapitate 3 or 4 of them with his bare hands. In reality I probably couldn't have got to him in time, but I still regret not moving my ass. At the very least I should have beat the crap out of him afterwards, but again, didn't do that either.

My cats mainly chase cockroaches, but they have chased a mouse into the house once (not many mice around here) and caught birds more than once. We try to save the birds though.
