I always thought it was hilarious and saddening - that, over here, you can print and put on TV all manner of gore and depravity, but don't you dare use "naughty words"!!!

I wonder how much freedom of speech people have in the Al Quiada or Iraq. Surely it must be better than in the evil USA, with their cast iron media control?

I dunno... just because you can doesn't mean you will, you know? I think that the newspapers try to be tactful, because printing something like, "Holy Shit! Slug Bug Spams!" or something like that is not going to sell papers. They are trying to make money, and need to preserve their image.

I try not to use "naughty words" because it's habit forming, and I don't want to go around cursing all the time.
