I don't get PMs either, except on rare occasions. I don't think everyone gets them.

Let me tell you this, I've been here for longer them most of you....and I only have like....10 PMs in my box.

 

PMs are used to talk to an individual in a way that you do not want to express openly on the boards. If you are an obnoxious, spammer as Chaos says you probably say all anyone cares to hear and more on the board and every tells you all they need to and more there also. There is no reason to PM you, it's a mode of communication, not a way to boost your obviously low self-esteem.

 

I have low self-esteem, I don't much care for PMs. Though must ignore me, I don't much care, used to it.

My PMs are generally about role playing or someone making fun of me

not necessarily Sleek, some people just want to have a private conversation, or, in the case of roleplaying, discuss things to come without revealing them to the other players. Or they're for people with something to hide.
