Please help, display bug

Hi. I have a problem with arcanum. Firstly, I can't see videos, but I can hear the sounds. (no big deal though). Problem is when I start the game. I can see the toolbars etc etc, but the gamescreen is completely dark. I can only see the floating text and that its. Please help! TIA

 

Reinstall, and if that doesn't do the trick, you can try to obtain a new copy of the game. As for the graphics, if I'm not mistaken, Arcanum works in 800x600 or 640x480, and you can try setting your computer's resolution on, let's say, 800x600.

Also, what OS do you have installed on your computer?

Thank you for the feedback. I got it to work though, by changing arcanum.exe to run in 256 colors.
