Pickpocket is royaly skrewed.....

Ummm Im at level 48, have +100 alignment and am about two bars from being full tech.

My problem is that when I put a character point into Pickpocket (which is at Zero) there is no red bar to acknowledge it, but it still go's from saying I need 6 dex to raise to 9 dex to raise, as though the bar is there but not showing.

So then I just put the point in and leave character editor, but when I come back the point is gone from pickpocket, and dissapears forever.

Anyone happen to know whats going on???

 

Try taking off whatever gloves you've got equipped. Some of the more burdensome gauntlets (like the lovely machined ones) give a very heavy penalty to pickpocket. The point is being added, but the penalty is taking it away. If the gauntlets aren't causing the problem, try taking everything off, as it's possible (but pretty unlikely) that something else could be interfering with it - you just have to find out what it is.

At level 48, pickpocket is pretty useless anyway. If you haven't already got it, chances are you don't need it.

 

AAArrrgghhh, It's the gauntlets!!!!! damn thing's made me waste a character point. ggrrrrr :x :x :x

P.S. yes it was those nice machined ones with the blade out the side.!
