    It depends on how do we understand "naked". If it's just not having any item in the armor slot, you can get quite resistant with other items, such as magical rings, a good shield, sword of protection, that sort of thing. If you mean being completely naked, that is no rings, no boots etc, it gets a little harder. Yet you can take a background with additional protecniot, such as the Escaped Lunatic and get the final blessing. At some point you actually always can get such powerful that enemies can't even reach you, meaning that the endgame shouldn't be any harder.

    Also do not forget that half-ogres receive 10% damage resistance by default and can get an additional 10% from the Tough Hide background.

    All things considered, that could actually be the most powerful background in the game once you find or make yourself a suit of good large armour.

    Although there is always a question - Why should I get my naked character to be a huge, muscular half-orc when I can get it to be a 20 BE elf (or at least a male human of normal sizes)

    Whilst I agree that a 21 BE female Elf makes for good fapping material, a naked half-ogre, at least, has the ability to crush things with his bare hands. An elf would have to resort to magick, or maybe bows, to do anything worth a damn in the nude.

    That's dangerously reminiscent of Hulk...

    ...which gives me a challenging character idea - Technological (Theurapeutics + Chemistry must be added) Half Ogre, naked with no weapons. I'm doubtful if I should use gloves though.

    I would definitely use gauntlets. A set of machined gauntlets will help immensely in unarmed combat.

    I suppose hardened hands would also do the trick, but by Freya, I haven't yet experimented with that spell. Is it really effective?

    The damage numbers do not change when spell is applied in the inventory. I should check sometime with Ailing Wolves and a basic starting char if it changes in effect too. However, I heard it was almost useless.

    Hardened Hands adds +2 normal damage to your unarmed attacks, regardless of aptitude. I've mentioned that already, and you, Dark Elf, actually responded to that message of mine. Short memory on your part, I guess.
