    W00t. I hope it works for everybody; it seems to work for me. The login page now has a checkbox that allows you to save your login for 30 days. It wasn't hard to do either, thanks to the nice people over at the phpBB Hacks forum. (especially allending and FaxData, who created this well-documented hack)

    For some reason that checkbox does NOT save my login, and I am sometimes required to log in twice as it does not seem to recognize the first time I do it. This may be gravedigging but at least I used the search function to see if anyone else had reported this problem.

    For some reason I use mozilla that autocompletes my password everytime.

    :D


    Of course some IE noobs use Gator to autocomplete passwords but Gator is full of spyware. :x

    Mind you, the current persistent login feature is entirely a part of phpBB 2.0.5. We no longer use any hacks or mods on this forum.

    As for the persistent login: do you have cookies enabled? You need cookies. If you don't like them, just change your security settings for this domain to let 'em through.

    Thanks Calis. I guess it's my cookie-blocking that makes it so I have to log in twice most times. I would rather log in twice most times than have to deal with cookies although I would rather not have to log in twice most times at all.

    What exactly is your problem with cookies?
    If you're worried about ad viewing info being tracked, just let through the cookies from terra-arcanum.com as the ad cookies come from a different domain.
