Shit, I totally misunderstood your post, I didn't realise you were talking about the game. I never played online, but as far as I remember, you couldn't make a party, you joined a game, met people there and that was it.
To form a party type "#join" That forces every pc nearby to be joined in your party. There are some specific commands to join only a certain player but #join allways works. Just make sure it is in the normal chat window and not the private message window. NOTE: If a party member has a follower, such as Priscilla in Vormantown, the follower will be scared off if a member of that pc's party enters combat near her.
i don't think i've ever heard of anyone playing on-line, in fact i thought it wasn't available anymore.
I play online quite often. However, here lately I've only been playing for just a little while at a time because I've been testing my mod with a friend on the net. I'll be playing online more after my exams in 2 weeks.
