party portraits disappeared

Hello all. I just started playing Arcanum the other day. Anyway,

My party portraits disappeared and I can't figure out how to get them back. I mean the portriats that show up on the left hand side of the screen to represent the people in your party. Relaunching the game and even restarting the computer doesn't fix it and I've searched through all the options and pressed every button on my keyboard (figured out how to quick save by doing this, lol) and I don't know what to do!

The disappeared after I went to the brothel in Tantran (is that right?) for the first time - when the screen blacks out when you are doing... you know. Anyway right after that I noticed the portraits were missing so I assume they disappeared as the screen blackening out. I don't know how to bring them back (and yes I've tried visiting the brothel again).

 

There's an arrow on the left side of your screen that when you click it shows, or removes, the character portraits.

 

LOL. It took me a minute at first to realize what arrow you were talking about. I guess I happened to click that shortly after or before the brothel event. Anyway, thanks for the tip!
