The dual shock is my favourite control for all the reasons listed above. The xbox controls is a bit chunky and not very practical but the 64 control was more comfortable than the xbox or ps2 controls.

I don't doubt it, however, no amount of getting used to will make me accept the shortcoming which I mentioned earlier.
That's too bad. I can't think of a reason why letters are better than symbols and vice versa.

I didn't use one, so I can't really say what I think about it.

    That's where I grew up.

My console was called "Ali Baba".

Thank you. I also despise PS controllers. "Push square. No, Square. SQUARE, YOU FUCKNUT!" Fuckin' symbols. Next, they'll come out with a hieroglyphic controller.

I also love my N64 pad. It just felt .... right. Left hand on the middle leg, right hand on the right. Again, another case of me never using the d-pad.

You guys are totally weird. Where's the bloody difference? Except the fact that little kids who can't read yet can read instructions?

Seriously, if you find little pictures of a squares, an Xs, a circles and a triangles confusing then I'm at a loss on what to say.

I totally agree with Jinxed, and I'm not just kissing his ass either. Theres nothing wrong with that d-pad on the dual shock. In fact I like the 4 piece d-pads better than those 1 piece solid monstrosoties that the N-64 pad and DreamCast pad, and X-Box pads have all used. WAY easier.

Although Jinxed did this earlier, I think it needs to be gone over again. By me.
Much like getting raped daily in prison is "okay once you get used to it"
Much like the xbox itself. New ad compain: "xbox, almost as pleasant as getting raped in the ass on a daily basis"

Would you mind elaborating in some way? This isn't truly meaningful.

Who the fuck cares whether the buttons have letters or symbols? Either way, you should be looking at the screen, not the controller, and the location of each button should be intuitively linked to the symbol on it. Dumbasses.

That depends on how much time you spend playing. If you do it regularly, then yes, but for the rare casual gamer it's not.

The fact remains that symbols are something anyone can relate to around the world, arabic, japanese or european. Letters on the other hand can be a little confusing at first for people who are totally unfamiliar with the roman/latin alphabet.

    It comes with constant masturbation.

Are you talking about a controller or a sex position?

Why should it be confusing to them? To someone who can't read the roman/latin alphabet, a letter is no less a meaningless symbol than a square or triangle.

This isn't true, the Xbox controller has buttons with letters, AND individual colors and I still got confused the first 100 times I used it.

Ever considered it may be a personal defect?

I don't use consoles often, but I really don't have much trouble with any controllers, except for the ones where you need to go out of reach of your normal grip on the controller to hit the proper button to fire or move your character.

    AGHHH!!!! XENTO!!!!!! DIE!!!!!!!!

I consider it a matter of, getting used to oddly placed buttons, and color coding in conjunction with alphabetizationmifyingness. It makes my brontosaurus brain spin.

    1. The Brontosaurus was never a real dinosaur. it was an accident in which two dinosaur skeletons of different species were put together, because the people in charge didn't know a toebone from a skull.

    2. You do realise that the Appatasaurus (which made up most of the Brontosaurus' skeleton) had a brain the size of a walnut, don't you?

Ever tried telling someone to press "A" when they don't have a clue what you're talking about? And how will you go about when you explained it? Without any idea of how to pronounce it? So you would have to come up with your own names for the buttons.

You would have to describe what it is. When you tell someone to press the square, they damn better know it, unless they are retarded.

Don't consoles usually have a pop-up screen that gives an explaination of a move in words, as well as a little button icon for what you push? For all the ones I played, it never only said the button's name out loud.

    HEY EVERYONE!

Isn't it sad when someone comes so close to getting the joke, but then his tiny syphlusosaurus brain decides not to comprehend the joke part?

When it's someone like Jar, I know it's a joke right away, but with dumbasses like you, I'm not sure whether it's humor or just plain stupidity.

Notice you posted a one-liner. Also what kind of an artist are you? What do you do? Smear shit around? I guess noone will fully understand you until everyone on earth is as stupid as you are. Thank God we aren't that low yet.

As for your 'joke' I didn't even consider it in the slightest bit humorous, even if I did consider it stupidity and not a joke.

    LOL

Jeez, I guess I'm a minimalist if you want to label me.

An acorn in the middle of a huge expanse of tile floor is what my hypothetical painting consists of, and all of the squirrels are in jail.

I'm done with this inane bickering. I've got to go smoke and drink coffee in my beret, and have sex with hairy women.
