Has anyone tried the new polish shooter? Damn, this game is neat, it's keeping me away from finish toee walkthroughs.

People say that PK will be the next multiplayer game. It's sheer irony that it cannot be played without a patch which is supposed to be released tomorrow.

PK is calling, time for me to shred some demos into bits.

Painkiller rules. That's all there is to it. It's quite possibly the best classic first-person shooter ever made. And you can't fault the genius of the stake gun. How amazing is it that you can pin demons to the walls and ceilings? By classic FPS, I mean like Quake and Doom. Rainbow Six and similar games don't qualify, but I like them better.

 

I'm playing Far Cry at the moment. It is fucking cool - the best FPS I've played since Half Life, and to be honest, I'm enjoying it more than I did HL. I've also got Painkiller, but I can't get it to start, and some glitches in Far Cry make me think that I need to update my video drivers (after all, what use are night vision goggles that make your view completely black?)

 

While waiting for the mp patch, I think I'll continue my work on the walkthrus.

Jar, many people had problems starting the US version, a patch was released, but it will be hard to use it with your errr.... backup copy.

Pk was released in Poland for aprox. 5$

 

I think Rainbow Six qualifies as a classic. It was the first of its kind, it was awesome, I played the multiplayer game for about 2 years, thats classic to me.

 

It is a classic, but it is a classic squad-based tactical shooter, not a classic first-person shooter. Rogue Spear occupied many months of my life until I beat it, and I need to get Rainbow Six 3 as soon as possible.

 

I must admit, I've never played any of those Tom Chanley (spelling?) games, except for Splinter Cell, but I only go to the second or third level.

Xbox kicks ass. (I forgot to tell everyone [or maybe I was hiding it] that I got an Xbox at Christmas) I love it. Ahh, to play a FPS with a freakin' CONTROL PAD.

 

I think the only reason why you think it's cool, is because you haven't used any other consoles. Xbox, is by far the worst and the controller is the worst pad is console history to date.

I've used 5 consoles: a simple nintendo ripoff, a ps, a dreamcast, a ps2 and a gamecube. An xbox is IMO, a waste compared to any of those.

 

i love the gamecube. xbox controllers are too much like dreamcast controllers. the dreamcast was cool, but the controller sucked.

 

Wrongo. I have used a PS, PS 2, and a Gamecube. I like the Xbox controls way better than PS. Gamecube I neither hate nor like, really, in comparison. I would love to get a Gamecube, too. The wifey said I could, since they're 99 bucks now. Only problem, coming up with dough to buy games for the fucker.

Ah, well. All I really want is the Legend of Zelda game for it. Played it for 20 minutes a couple weeks ago. I still got wood.
