    So, for begin, our team have 3 problems:

    First - How to make random text from time to time above NPC's heads like in fallout (without click on NPC)? My ideas with function 'store minutes' didn't work... I can't think algorytmic... eh... I need help!

    Secound - I do not understand jet how to work the random encounters. So, is someone who can script this and can help me with this?

    3- What internal number has water... and all general stuff... There is some list or something like that?

    Second: Random encounters are governed by WMap_Rnd.mes found in the rules folder.
    The file itself tells you how to use it. I warn you that it is quite complicated but it is something that has to be learned as there is no easy way to explain it.

    Third: Most "general stuff" does not have a unique internal number. To add one for a prototype you have to use hex editing. To add one for a unique item placed in the game you can just use WorldEd (simple). Internal names can be found in oname.mes in the oemes folder.

    If you don't know how to generate these folders then I strongly suggest you read ALL of Amtut and the WorldEd manual before proceeding.

    2. Ok, well, if you understand this good, can you help me with edit this file. I can send you all information what you need to create random encounters which macht to my scenario in Zakon Switu mod.

    3. Yes, I know how to make internal names to unique items, but I only do not understand how to edit pro files to give internal names to all stuff in Arcanum. For example for potions and other... But I hope in time I will learn it. Now I have more important things to do in mod.

    Ok, I already readed it. And i must say that i also alredy tryed this trick. It didnt work... Because there is no brakes in this script, so the float lines change very fast and any human cant read it! :)

    Other ideas?

    I was thinking about remember the time game somewhere, but i cant strore game secound... and store minutes also didnt work...

    I trayed many variants of this script and every was bad...

    I am waiting for other ideas.

    I am currently working on 2 projects of my own. I had hoped to have my hack finished last month but real life is getting in the way (finding a new flat and a million other things which I need to sort out before my new job starts). So basically I don't have the time at the moment. Perhaps I can help at a later date.

    Simply increase the required counter value.
    e.g. For every heartbeat add 1 to the counter.
    When the counter reaches 100 then float line X.
    Reset counter to 0.

    You cannot store seconds. However you can call a script in X seconds. So if you wish an exact delay use "call script (num) at line (num) with triggerer (obj) and attachee (obj) in (num) seconds".
