Paris is a big bunghole!!! When i was there last summmer i looked for comics and i found a huge store with around a million comics all in frence. a few hundred in english. And to top it all i got a infection in my foot while i wsa there so i allmost had to go to a hospital. It was twice as large as normal. If you read frence you got comics for life though.

Before you go to France make sure you have your own food, drink and gas supply. It is a rule that some 30% of people are in France on strike all the time and every now and then all of them decide it's barbaric to be forced to work and then everyone is on strike and you're screwed.

Another thing: get a local to translate for you. You will be treated with disgust if you try speaking French and no one will hear you when you'll be speaking English.

    Have fun, Kozmo_Naut!

If you see that Amelie chick, get her phone number for me. And tell Maurice Chevalier that I said "Hi!".

Oh and bring me back a beret and a couple of those skin-tight black and red striped shirts and a long thin cigarette holder, por favor.

    Bon Voyage!

you better hope that they've cleaned the city recently, if they haven't it's just a big puss-hole with rude people who hate your nationality but love your money...

oh, yeah... don't try to steal any bones... they don't like that... :p

If you expect other Europeans to jump in and defend the French, you could be waiting a while.

Most of the time, Europeans are busy making jokes about people from other countries in Europe with a level of nastiness only capable after centuries of bigotry. About the only thing we agree on is that US tourists should be treated with the contempt that their lack of sophistication deserves.
