online manual?

Hi, new here. Glad to see there's still a fairly active Arcanum community around. I bought the game ages ago and played it awhile, mostly trying out different character builds, but at some point I got busy with other things and it was consigned to the back of my desk drawer. Recently I dug it out and reinstalled it, and my attention span seems to have improved since then, because I'm making more progress. (Just cleared out the Black Mountain Mines.) The only problem is that I have no idea where my manual got off to. I'm basically doing all right without it, but there are certain things, (the abbreviations on weapon and armor stats, for instance) that I'm a little fuzzy on.

Does anyone know if this stuff is explained on a site somewhere, or if there's an online version of the manual I could download? It'd be nice to try out that banana bread again, too.

It was, and yes, i can see that Solara's typing skills are far superior to mine, without argument.

And as you can see from my other thread I didn't just come for the manual, I'll probably be pestering you all with noobish questions for some time to come.

I'm glad I didn't inadvertently piss anyone off with sloppy typing. After I made this thread I went and read some of the others and wow, you guys take this stuff pretty seriously. I play MUDs and IF alo--er, a lot, and writing fantasy and sci-fi is kind of a hobby of mine, so it's not like I haven't had plenty of practice typing. I guess I just automatically proofread my posts before clicking the 'submit' button.

EDIT: 'edit' button also comes in handy...
