I have rough idea how the magic will work against tech, but please correct me if I'm wrong.

Picture this: one 100% magic aptitude vs. 100% tech aptitude (for the sake of argument lets keep them same level), the spells will to squat against the techi, right? And all the guns (and gadgets like grenades) are not much useful either against the mages (will they do any damage at all to that character?), so basically it is hand to hand combat in the end? And if yes what about bonuses in that case? Or am I missing something here?

no i believe the aptitudes are just compared and the highest is the one which has the effect......so therefore in this instance they would cancel out...course i could be wrong

In the example, yes.THe two would cancel out and both tech and magic would get no bonuses or penalties.

OK that actually makes sense, but lets do the follow-up. Guys from Troika said that you can throw anything at your enemy, but I don't remember if anybody said anything about using your gun as a club?

Sethmage : do you throw clubs?
I think what they mean is that you can pick anything out of your inventory and target someone with it which will make you throw it at them not club them to death with it.
no matter how close you are. so if you stand right beside an enemy an try to club them with a gun you will actually throw it at them (or shoot em. heh)

Is the "throwing" range for odd things still strength based? I mean, is this computed as an actual attack, or are you just sort of "dropping" things?

Intelligent. He used a marketscore proxy so his IP doesn't match anyone elses. Well, either that or it's a really dumb person who unknowingly has marketscore spyware installed on their machine...
