Greetings Arcanum players, it is great to see a community that still cherishes this game even now. I look forward to discussing the many adventures we have all had and will perhaps have. Does anyone play the multiplayer feature anymore? Also who here used to post on the official forum on the troika website before they went bust and VUgames took over the forums? I was Zanza back then as well as now, hopefully my old friend Lugath is still out there... Somewhere!

    Greetings.

A lot of us came straight to Terra-Arcanum although a few scattered members were members of the old Sierra forums as well. There is actually a group that is trying to keep as many of the old Sierra fans together as possible here: http://www.sierraforums.com/index.php

Ahh, it seems I have already made some mistakes. Apologies for the previous grave digging, seems I must take a closer look at the dates. The folly of being a new comer and seeing so many interesting threads only to find they died so long ago.

If you want to talk about an old subject just start a new thread on it. I'm not a believer in the whole 'only have one thread on each topic' theory. Gravedigging is troublesome because people often dig up threads made b people who left years ago, ask the absent person a question and then get upset when they don't receive an answer a blanket ban on gravedigging solves this. Although thegravedigging rule is not as harshly enforced in General Discussion or when the creator of a thread digs it up.

Yeah was my favourite show when I was young, few of my mates used to say I had his attitude, and comical relief at times when we were growing up.

    edit: typo

I always welcome new, well-spoken forum members. Especially those who appear intelligent and do not willfully break rules or have a sense of entitlement.

Sanosuke is totally my favourite character from that show. But only the Rurouni Kenshin version, the Samurai X shit they showed on SciFi made me weep. Sano should NOT sound like an emo teenager, for fuck's sake!

(Heh, I remember one of the free clothes/dress up as something weird days from high school. I dressed up as a FOnewearl from PSO, complete with a crappily painted Soul Eater I'd made in art class, and everyone was just o_O WTF? Then I went to Computer Science, and realised how HOT the exchange student was. He was dressed as Sanosuke. AND he recognised what I was dressed as. Man, that was a seriously bad crush... I never did get up the nerve to ask him out...)

I was hoping that was going to end with some kind of banging in the back of the computer science classroom, but that's out of a vague hope that geeky kids got laid other places than the dark room.

See, I'm actually horribly shy in real life. I'm lucky if I can get more than a few words out - unless a Red Dwarf quote-a-thon spawns, as they sometimes do in my class. Heh... I'm just no good at talking to people without the internet's power of anonymity. That's probably one of the reasons why the only people I've ever dated are fucking nuts.

Was that a proposal to anyone in particular, Xiao? Or just the entire board?
