Ogres are the superior race

Who thinks that ogres are the best race in arcanum and all other races should bow down to there strength

 

Actually, Ogres are not that great. They are too big to use guns and too stupid to use spells. The only reason they do well at all is that the fighting in turn-based combat is horendously broken. I myself prefer a dwarven tech or a half-elf wizard (I can't stomach playing an elf). If you want a challenge play a half-elf tech.


BTW, it should be their, not there.

i admit its true about the guns but ogres can and do use spells quite well. the reason that they cant do things very well is that there not designed to do them u dont expect a halfling to use only melee combat or an elf to use teck there designed to fight with melee weapons and nothing else

 

Tech dwarves are the best.

I prefer a halfling warrior tech thief myself...or at least, I really enjoyed playing that character.

ive just started as a mage human and ive got to tarrant it took me about 2 hours after doing every quest i could i then did it again as a ogre and it took me half the time with more quests

 

I am playing a total dumbass halfogre pure fighter. It's really funny how Virgil reacts.

 

Ogres suck. No one responds well to you and you can't use lots of good items.

 

If Ogres suck so much, then why are they so popular? Ogres are the only ones who can fight their way out of the crash site canyon.

 

All you really need for that is Harm and an axe.
