ok, I found it, though it took some work... god... that was not even worth the effort of finding... lol... you know, I realized something: I'm the only person who doesn't hate Chulupa... lol... you know, that's actually kinda sad on Chulupa's part... though 'she' does have a tendency to snap at ppl... which I've noticed well... lol... but why are all of you ppl east-coast and European (with a few aussies) ppl?!? why aren't any of you West Coasters like me? son, I am in North Bend Washington. the biggest thing in this town is a small, dingy mall. THIS is the middle of nowhere... your a bit off center. :lol: and what's to hate about Chalupa? as long as you don't post something against her she (prolly) won't bite your head off... though that remains to be seen, namely when she discovers that there's an entire series of posts dedicated to her... hmm... she should be complimented or insulted by that?

 

Chalupa hasn't bitten anyone's head off yet. I don't know what you guys are going on about really. She's completely harmless - she weighs 145 pounds and is self educated for fucks's sake!

It's just such a JOB going through all the updated threads these days. Certain newcomers to this board tend to spiel on and on with vapid comments that don't add any substance to the conversation.

The frequent references to myself in this thread have not gone unnoticed. What did was the fact that I live in OAKLAND, CALIFORNIA. It says something to that effect to the left of this post.

Yeah, that's not entirely correct Matt. Snow has, on a couple of occasions, asked you and a couple of others to stop it with the one line conversations that are more suited to IRC (paraphrased because I can't be bothered finding the exact post). In other words, you were spamming.

And I do hate to burst your bubble, but a lot of what you have talked about has been pretty empty. Don't stop posting, but please, think more about what you are posting.

2. Filling up threads with useless chatter that, as Jar said, needs to be relayed in a chat room, is not keeping the forum lively. What happens is people don't open up threads when they see the last poster that added to the thread, if that person has a reputation of "one-lining". So what happens is good posts, funny posts, relevant posts, get over-looked and/or buried. Please. As Jar said, we aren't asking anyone to stop posting. But if you are gonna post, please, please PLEASE ask yourself, what, if anything is this post gonna add to this discussion?

 

Matt, 90% of what you write could be considered spamming. Of course 91% of what I write could be considered spamming, so I win, HAHAHAHAHA! No both of us post way too much, and if I actually knew in the first place what RPG actually wanted to accomplish with this thread, I would get us back on track. He wanted to say how he's going to be all recognized soon, right? Tell us what you look like RP and maybe we can recognize you when we see you around. Speaking of seeing people around, I realize how utterly pointless this thread is in it's entirely, so I'm giving up on it. IF something somewhat important comes up, I might be back.

 

I do so luv the way that this thread has turned around and is now focused on spamming. I for one would like to see much more of what goes on on the boards to be kept to IRC. I don't get this big ego trip thing with how many posts one has. Who really gives a flying fuck!?

For example I have only like 30 post or so and matt-thorn has like 175. Now I find this rather spammacious and ironical since I joined the beginning of July and thorn joined the end of August. Does this seem to much for the activity on the board?

I mean, what is the deal with coming and checking the GD board and posting in EVERY SINGLE THREAD ON THE FIRST TWO PAGES???????
Now I realize that not everyone does this, yet a considerable number do do this in an exceedingly and annoying manner. When I check the board(s) I notice that the last 10 or 15 posts were all by the same person!?! I believe that this is the type of stuff for IRC, and not the GD board.

ok, minus the lizard post (which has, held no relivence for the life of it) most of what I've said has held weight... and why is it I'm always the one who's slammed when you talk about spamming? Why not pick on Sleek? or Blinky? your turning me into the scrapegoat! and that's not right!! DU had a good point, my grammar was horrid, and I apologize to all of you, I'm a poet, not a teacher, so my spelling ain't the best... but since this topic has died before I stabbed it in the heart, why am I always the one whos blamed? and Jar, while Snow may have told us to knock off the one liners, I have, for the most part... (as long as I don't forget) but I don't think you need to (Repeatedly) point to me that I've made a folly, I know when my mistakes are pointed out, you don't gotta rub it in....
