This is my pathetic attempt to gain more recognition amongst the "Elders" here. I don't post that often, but I believe that is going to change. I soon(well maybe not so soon as I would like :???: ) will be yet another force at HoL!

So give me something to go on...I respond to EVERY post for this topic.

Oh yeah, I forgot Canis qualified as female...or at least, is having her claim is being processed.

On that note, Chalupa is also female (and also having her claim processed). But, she's not important, not really. She's just the current scapegoat - and admittedly, most of the scapegoats of the past have become forum legends. History remembers them kindly for the most part - loo, Quethim, Eros Rex/Tyr Raven/Hel Khat/Ares/War God (my personal favourite scapegoat, and he's the only one not remembered kindly). Xento was close to fulfilling the position, but he just didn't have the personality for it...well, he actually had no personality at the time.

Many here, Cannis for one, enjoy helping on game questions. A few here try to sound big & important. A few here post to any thread even when they have nothing to say. As we are not real big on staying on topic, it should be easy to say something that adds, even if it is irrelevant. Post as you have been posted to. If you are insulted, insult right back.

My personal gripe is those who lean hard on newbies, like Chalupa does. A board MUST atract newbies or it dies. Scare them away & it will die too.

Jar, I know Canis from another board. I am 99% sure she is a she. Chalupa has a few manerisims that make it seem like it is an insecure teen aged male. But then it will post in a reasonable, inteligent, adult fashion. Well someone once said that "foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of small minds." And there is little consistency on this board. So I guess none of us here have small minds.

I actually had a long rant about this all ready to post, but then I realized you'd be able to use it as an example of masculine aggression. So rather than being combative I shall merely sit here, roll my eyes, and quietly contemplate a revenge far in the future when you have forgotten this day.

As for Chalupa, it's possible that she's a teenage girl going through a particularly unpleasant adolescence. I myself hated adolescence, and remember well the wild, fluctuating hormone levels that tormented me and my schoolmates. Anyway, that could explain why she seems almost constantly aggressive instead of rampaging only once a month like a normal female.

My theory, if Chlupa is female, it is an overly bright & overly repressed prepubeesent girl. Think of all those bossy 7 - 12 year olds. Since all can essentially be equal here :thumbup: , and I do not observe fun-loving jests about race :-x , social status :???: , or ne other facet of life. So it comes as somewhat of a lighting stike to the senses to see certain individuals (whom shall remain anonymous as they know who full well they are!) that are seemingly, w/o reason, completely and utterly fixated on proving one's gender which has no bearing whatsoever(on track or off) on ne thing pertinent in this particular location of common interest amongst us in this world.
