Am I the only one who watches that show who can't help but see George from Blackadder on the screen?

I've never been able to take House seriously.

Hugh Laurie was Prince George in the 3rd season and just plain old George in the 4th season.

    Never saw Blackladder.
I'm not certain it's supposed to be taken seriously.
Unless you mean you can't get into his current character because of how you remember him?

My problem is that both House and Desperate Housewives are shown at the same time!

But you can see Bree here at HoL...

Well, I actually see Hugh Laurie as Blackadder's II Prince Ludwig.

    And he's damned hot.

I frickin' love House, but it can be a nightmare getting to the TV to watch it... 2 TVs, 4 people, and nobody wants to watch the same shows... le sigh. When I do get to watch it, though...

    Hugh Laurie at his finest.

*glomps Bunny* You quoted my all-time fave Blackadder scene. You are teh fuxin awesums!

I like House too, but mostly for the clinic duty parts, the rest of the it is the same every episode:

Patient is sick. They come up with treatment. Treatment seems to work. Something goes wrong. They find another treatment. Repeating until there's about 10 minutes left, and they find the right treatment.

I can't remember more than two episodes that weren't like that, and that was because they didn't involve treating sick people at all.

I enjoy the slowly unfolding interpersonal drama in the hospital. And some of the cases have some original twist that makes them more interesting, but yes, it does get a bit redundant. Especially if you watch like five episodes in one sitting because you can only get it on DVD.

Blackadder is really nice too, espescially when I think blackadder was celebrating New Year or something, and his pal, the butler constructed a time machine.

Blackadder: Back and Forth. It's one of my faves too, I'm a Doctor Who fangirl so it gave me a damn good laugh.

I haven't seen Back and Forth since it was first aired for the Millenium it was good but it doesn't hold up against the originals. And as for Doctor Who, I lost interest when I saw the treatment the Cybermen got in the new series.

Doctor Who is okay, kinda B-ish but still worth watching.

    Anyone have watched Falcons Crest?

B-ish is better than A-ish most of the time. Think of Monty Python. Think of The Kids in the Hall.
