Since it was Kim Jong Il's birthday yesterday, something crossed my mind. If YOU had all of Bill Gates money, how and in what would you invest them in Northkorea?

Personally, I would construct electrical sources, re-build the farming, complete the 105-floor hotel in Pyongyang and stuff like that.

From msn: "I'd purge the leaders instead of investing."

Why would you think I had Bill Gates money...

I'd probably just open up a bunch of McDonald's/Denny's/bastions of capitalist idealogy... you know, for shits and giggles.

It just crossed my mind like that. Just MacDonalds, and were would you get the power from?

I'd invest in human trafficking, a.k.a. prostitution/mail-order bride sevices.

Only that it wouldn't be McDonalds. McDonalds is an evil imperialistic capitalist conglomerate.

It would have to be Burger Kim.

    You want serious?
Ok...I'd build some of the best schools in the world with unbiased reading material. And I'd let the people think for themselves by "investing" in a hitman.

One man, one vote. Kim Jong Il is the man. He's got the vote.

Haha, Burger Kim, that was the best thing in the world that I came up with. So, you wouldn't invest any money in power sources?

You really are twisted, Van Stran.
The only thing worth doing with North Korea is taking Kim out of office.
After that time, I'd invest in just about anything. You're talking about doing this because it was his birthday? You sick fuck.

I did this because I realized how serious the situation in Northkorea is. What would you say if you were walking in Pyonyang and see starving children everywhere?

Well considering I'm an American, I don't think I'd be welcome in Pyonyang under any circumstance.
Also, since I'm an American, any famine preventative spending would probably be frowned upon. Kim would probably get all pissy, saying something like, "What, you can serve my people better than ME?!"
And I honestly can't say I like listening to short people when they're mad.

According to their crappy site (www.korea-dpr.com) Americans are welcome, as in their April 2007 Delegation.

Then we take this discussion to the next stage.
    Who would replace Kim?

Good old Cox and Forkum :)

The USA should've nuked them instead (with the approval of PRC, of course, nobody wants a World War III).

Nobody apart from Kim Jong Il wants a World War III.

I'd say, "You know, these kids look like prime candidates for human trafficking." And I'm as serious as an 80's music video.

I'm not seeing the seriousity here. How many times do i have to say: Post serious theories, answers and stuff like that.

So, suggest a suitable person that could replace Kim Jong Il?

Instead, suggest a person that couldn't replace Kim Jong Il.

Oh, you can't suggest Van Stran, that's would be too easy.

Van Stroodle is trying too hard to keep this thread from derailing.
