First of all: Wolfsbane, you know nothing of the level of flaming there once was here. You shouldn't talk like you're some kind of veteran here, 'cause all your posts are mostly spam, which you shouldn't be proud of. So even if postcount mattered at all, you'd still be a newb.

Second of all: Kamenzy, don't double post (which you just did), learn to use the "edit" button, or we will (as Vorak put it) kill you... Or worse. Don't gravedig (post in really old, dead threads).

I appologize on behalf of my bad memory, someone who has been here longer is free to correct me if I'm wrong, and if I am, then this is the way I see things:

I can't really remember a time when newbies were flamed for being newbies, I do remember newbies being flamed for being stupid, like spookydoomager or something (I think it was), Wolfsbane and that guy who posted about a Troika-revival in 10 different threads on the same day, and whoever else might have been flamed as a newbie.

When I joined this forum, it wasn't because of some primal need to flame those below me (you tell me to stop my "sad liking of violence" when you get a kick out of bullying whoever comes here because you think your spammy post-count is actually worth something, reality flash, it isn't and will never be, not even here, you won't even get a custom avatar because you'll never have made 1000 worthwile posts), I joined this forum because the people here seemed nice, they already liked to flame, but they dared to have flame-wars, not your (and at times the forum's) perverted bullying, and there were actually discussions here at that time. Sadly most of them are gone now, but the Arcanum discussions seem more active today than what I remember.

I personally have never been into flaming, I've had on war with Blinky which I lost due to my repeated use of "polar-bear" as an insult, but I don't have anything agaist watching a good flame war, one were both parties actually have the possibility of defenting themselves.

 

My original post was not an attack on your person, and my mentions of attention span and inconsideration refer to how you responded with my inability to read an entire post, and then respond in the manner of my choosing, making me A: Inattentive, and B: Inconsiderate (in retrospect, this may be how I think you responded to my post). I'm not here to attack you, I responded with a minor self defensive measure which I should hope you know is all in good fun. This is a forum, and I shouldn't have to explain myself to anyone here, considering I may or may not ever meet them.
Note how I used the word "seem" in bold-face type. If I had not made it bold, I'm guessing you would not have proceeded to attack my mental faculties even further, and maybe you wouldn't have taken my character into consideration. One word does not a hypocrit make. I deign the use of further insults, for I can see you're just as tenacious and possibly stubborn as I am. I welcome you to the forums, as previous posts from longer-present members had stated, and I'm sure that what I've just said will clear any and all misconceptions of my being from this space.
By the way, I did start a "Why I am so great" topic in the General Discussions forum.

Not really. He told me to take on someone of "my own weight", and I did. Mathie can just brag on 'cause he's a moderator. If he wasn't, I wouldn't give a crap about him.

All I can say Grossenschwaum is Comprehension is different to attention span. I had sumised that you indeed had read all of my post but you where unable to comprehend it (That means understand by the way) that does not mean I was calling you stupid, just that I felt you did not understand the points I was making. As far as im concerned that doesnt make you stupid, (mabey you have some sort of insecurety thing going on there because you keep trying to put words into my mouth). I would be careful though if you keep contradicting yourself you may give the idea that you are not as intelligent as I first thought. now that would be a shame wouldnt it.

I've completely stopped insulting you, why you continue seems to be an ill-begotten attempt to get back at all of the bullies who teased you in high school. I'm not contradicting anything. You, however, seem to enjoy implying that I have an inability to understand words in English. At my current understanding of the language you see before you, I find that very insulting, and I feel that it is tantamount to calling me "stupid". Your opinion may differ at face value, i.e. what you've been posting, but I have a feeling you're deeply enjoying yourself by insulting me through the medium of the internet. I confess, I do have insecurities regarding intelligence, because I am a perfectionist. That is no reason to be an ass, regardless of who you are.

you want me to stop, awww, Im sorry I hurt your feelings. thanks for the tips on arcanum but ive finished it. your insight is amazing I was bullied once in the first week of high school. Im not getting revenge for that by "insulting" you, That was sorted out when it occured. Thanks for your concern though lol. I am not trying to insult you just point out a few things. If you really are a perfectionist you should welcome comments Like those stated in earlier posts, Instead of fighting them tooth and nail. The term "Constructive Criticism" mean anything.
