Yes, i'm bragging again what's your point?. but seriously, i finally got tired of having 5.1 speakers and not having a 5.1 compatible sound card, so i did something about it, well here's the spec's.... CPU: Athlon xp 2800+ Mobo: Gigabyte GA-7N400 Pro2 (Nforce2) RAM: Dual Channel 512MB (2x 256MB Kingston) Video: 64MB Leadtek Geforce 4 Ti4200 Sound: Creative Sound Blaster Audigy2ZS HD: 120GB Seagate Barracuda ATA133 7200RPM HD: 20GB Seagate Barracuda ATA133 7200RPM CDRW: Sony 16x10x40 DVD: 16x Pioneer Monitor: LG 17" Modem: Dlink 56K OS: Windows XP Pro (Service Pack 1) Keyboard: Logitech Cordless Fan: Coolermaster aero7+ Power Supply: Zalman 400watt noiseless Speakers: 5.1 Positive speakers Any thought's?, questions?, hard nipples?... Soon to be changed is my vid card, which will probably be the Radeon 9800 or the ST, depending on how extravagent i want to go but for right now everything's pretty much acceptable and suprisingly compatible, I've only had two blue screens 'o' whining over the last month or so, so nobodie's pretty happy right now.... well except for the 56k connection but i don't get much of a chance to get on the net lately so ADSL would not really be a justifiable expense.
At least my video card is better than yours! And my modem too!! And... Oh, nevermind, your system is better than mine :-(
 Did you rob a museum? I mean, seriously, what's the point of having less than 100 mbit/s? But what else could be expected from a land that produced the platypus? Oh, and did I mention that, in regards to the rest of your setup, I really do hope that you get a surge? Seriously. And by the way, I've laid claim on retards ass, just so you know, mmmmkay?* *Of course, this was meant to be taken in positive terms
Weeeeeeeeeellll, mines better But I got mine through insurance . What do you use it for? Is it work, internet/porn or for games?
Dark Elf, surely you know that Retard and mrnobodie have a very special relationship which no one can come between.
Three actually.... give or take..... Yeah i know, it's the original one i bought a few years ago when i joined the PC age. And i haven't had a need to change it.... although i have wished for it..... once or six hundred times. As i said it's going to change soon... Games, games and games..... no porn here.... no sir.... not at all...... ..... ..... *ahem*.
I'm switching to linux, though, I need to get a new video card too, which should get in the mail sometime soon. It's going to be a nvidea jaton mx200 64meg It's not much, but I don't do much gaming, so it won't really matter.
Hahaha, you have shitty cooling! That, my burner, my vid card and maybe my RAM is all I can claim over your computer. Oh, and I actually have a mouse .
Yeah, i was going to go with the whole water cooling thing, but the idea of water inside my system just kinda wierded me out, anyway it's really funky looking and it's got an adjustable fan speed dial so on hot days (like now) i can crank it up and turn it back down if i want to. And yes i have a mouse too smartarse, it's a Logitech optical, so i can use the arm of my lounge chair without having the track ball being covered with crud. For those of you without an optical mouse... BUY ONE NOW!. It makes things so much easier. Actually that brings me to something i've noticed with my mouse that seem's kinda wierd, now it being an optical it has a light inside, (obviously) that is illuminated but brighten's when you move it, now this is normal but what isn't is that the light is there even when the system is turned off... yes, off as in shut down. should i be concerned?, worried?, arroused?... anyway it doesn't seem to be doing any harm... that i can tell.
Processor: Athlon 2800 Xp+ Motherboard: ABIT NF7-S with nForce Ultra-400 chipset RAM: 256MB Corsair, soon will upgrade to two. Corsair is the best Ram on the market. Video: Radeon 9600 256MB Sound: Onboard 6.1 surround (amazing, trust me) HD: 40GB Seagate OEM 7200RPM CDRW: Some crap drive I got for free with the old case, will upgrade next week. Monitor: Ancient Packard Bell, which was also free. It works, for now. Modem: Onboard Ethernet card, hooked up to a T3 connection. OS: Windows XP Pro Keyboard: Microsoft Internet Keyboard Mouse: Logitech optical. Power Supply: Generic dual fan atx power supply (works fine and was 20 bucks) Speakers: Altec Lansing 2.1 (will upgrade soon) Yeah, so I'm even or superior in most areas except for unnecesary drive space (what do you need 140GB for, a massive library of child porn?), output devices (so my monitor and speakers suck), and RAM. Oh, and the situation with your mouse light is normal, and yes, you should be aroused.
Then you'd be really freaked out by the peltier and phase change systems going around these days. I have no idea how these things work, only that they do a stellar job (proportional to cost) and that I use 5 fans to keep my case cool. Fuck the speed dials, keep it going full bore all the time - makes my case noisy as hell, but I don't have meltdowns either.
