    The English language doesn't make you fat, living in a wealthy nation that focuses on mass consumerism does. Racially, there are few ethnic groups that are actually naturally stocky, the only one I can think of off the top of my head being the Inuit.

    We can back up this claim by looking at the many other nations that were English-dominated in the past: India, Pakistan, several African states. Are you trying to tell me that the people who used to live on the Gold Coast were fatties?

    What about Pacific Islanders? Also, I'm fairly convinced that, were it not for the extreme poverty of many African countries, there would be a fair number of stocky/stoutly built individuals there.
