I'ld let them have it, as long as I got to autograph it and someone took a picture of me giving it to them. Then I could pretend they were a crazy, deranged fan with good dietary habits.

I'm not sure it's fair to blame this kind of murderous violence specifically on modern culture. Beowulf's pretty violent; Shakespeare is full of murder, incest, and torture; a lot of fairy tales are pretty gruesome; even the bible can be vicious on occasion (check out Judges 5. 26-27). Seems to me that the culture does no more than reflect the dark side of what it is to be human. If you fight the symptoms with hatred you risk becoming part of the disease. In other words...

    DEATH TO ALL FANATICS!!!

I... hurt myself today... to see if I still feel... I... focus on the pain... the only thing that's real...

I think that society always has been, and always will be violent. I am for Pacifism, and maintain it most of the time, but every now and then I crack.

    Rubbish....

It's only up to being a normal person or an insane one....
if you give to an insane one a sword he'll think he's a ninja or something and start cuttin people(you get the idea)

It's kinda have to do with your parents (did you notice how younger generation are wild and uncontrolled - doing stuff you never dreamed to do when you were their age)
it reflects on your parents and their way of raising you...
todays parents are milder than their parents and so on (you know: i'll do it better for my kid) and allowing them much more than they should.

It seems that I've found someone with Chinese smell, 'xiao_Caity'? How you got to know the word 'Xiao' means small?
If you are crying that game should not be responsible for the violent crime, then I must say you are much luckier then us.In China the public opinion think that game is the root of all crime(not money). We don't have the custom of bushing someone out of conscience on the roadside. But when a teenager suisides for some dumb reason ,the seciaty would immediately blame game for his death.'Because he was traped in the cyber world'An expert will conclude, and every mother will tell her son :'You see!'

I love his "Chinesed" English. The syntax of some of his phrases, the frequent lack of words such as "a" and "the", abusing plural words-- fascinating o_O

    Too bad ,such reputation.
Er ,I must admit once there was something like you said ,but it was just because we had so many people. It is a Chinese saying "There will be all kinds of birds if the forest is large enough."
In fact,wo live under more strict control……especially with ANY FORM OF GAME.

A couple of things factored into it. First, we had some asian kids at school who constantly called me Xiao, so I knew it either meant Small (I'm 4'10") or Crazy. When I went to Hong Kong, I had it confirmed for me by a nice man two rooms down.

I do like Chinese culture - I'm especially interested in Romance of the Three Kingdoms - but unfortunately I don't speak much Chinese. (Maybe five words?)
